Order and application

It is the holder of the burial right who decides what may be placed on the grave site. Before installing a gravestone, the cemetery administration must give its consent for installation.

Check that everything is correct before ordering, the link to your order request is always updated to the latest edition – your drawing and quote are the basis for future production and invoice.

Burial rights holder

The person(s) ultimately responsible for the burial plot is called the burial rights holder. If you wish to proceed with the ordering process according to the proposal we have produced, we therefore need written approval from the person(s) who holds the burial rights. Contact the cemetery administration if you are unsure who is the holder of the burial rights in your family or if a new agreement needs to be drawn up with the administration.

Cemetery administration

The drawing and quote we have prepared for you is therefore also designed as an application to the cemetery administration. Once we have received your order for the gravestone, with the drawing approved by the grave owner, we have the opportunity to contact the cemetery administration to get permission to install the stone. This usually takes about 1-2 weeks, but it can sometimes take longer before we receive a statement. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail through the various stages of the ordering process.

If there is an existing gravestone to be removed, it may require a special application for this, there are also cemetery administrations that require a special form to be filled out by the grave owner. We provide this if it should be relevant.

Rejection

In the unlikely event that the application is rejected, for example because there are special guidelines for the cemetery, it is possible to adapt the dimensions or change to another tombstone model. The cemetery administration may also reject the application because the cemetery owner has not approved the drawing, or if there are several of you who share responsibility for the cemetery, in which case all of you need to show your consent.
