At Edurus, we offer free advice by phone and email contact, our mission extends through the ordering process from idea to mounted tombstone.
We start by finding a design and layout of the tombstone based on your personal wishes. Sometimes the tombstone needs to be adapted to local guidelines at the cemetery regarding dimensions and appearance, so it is good to first contact staff at the cemetery, the cemetery administration or check the burial certificate received by the grave right holder in connection with the designation of the burial site.
Choice of tombstone
In order to compile a first draft of a construction drawing with an associated price proposal, we need information about what you are interested in. It usually starts with one of our catalog stones, but you also have the opportunity to get a completely customized tombstone based on your own image you found or sketch you created as all manufacturing is done per order.
We can show picture examples of our previously produced gravestones to make it easier to visualize a result, or refer to gravestones we have installed in cemeteries in the local area that you can look at. Provided that we have installed a similar tombstone in a nearby cemetery.
Possibility to change the design
When you submit a request for a quote via our order form, we will return within 2-5 working days with our proposal. The drawing is a black and white design drawing where all the choices you have made for the tombstone are specified. It is possible to change and adjust the design, text and layout until you feel satisfied, we offer up to five free drawings and they do not commit to purchase.
What is included
In addition to the drawing and tombstone design, we also present all costs. The price of a tombstone is based, among other things, on the amount of granite and how advanced the model is. We have discounted many of the stones in our range in order to offer beautiful, high-quality stones at a good price. Sculpted gravestones such as the heart with hands and our angel stones can therefore rise sharply in price if, for example, you wish to make changes to another size.
If you choose a gravestone from Edurus’ range, the price includes:

- Same price regardless of text treatment
- Same price regardless of the amount of text
- Same price regardless of font
- Same price regardless of decor and its quantity
Other options for the tombstone that incur additional costs:
- Own decoration from submitted model
- Intarsia decor
- Own font from submitted model
- Name inscription
- Text in other alphabets than Latin
- Porcelain photo and photo blast
- Marble dove, marble angel, bronze sparrowsr
- Vase and lantern in granite
- Flower moulding, pedestal planter, tomb frame

What will be added
There is always an additional shipping and installation cost, which may vary in different countries due to different installation methods.
If there is an existing gravestone in the cemetery that needs to be removed or moved by Edurus during installation, it is important to inform us when ordering so that the costs for this can be calculated for your quote. The same applies if the cemetery is inaccessible outside the mainland, as there may sometimes be additional costs for shipping. In the event of removal, the stone is taken for destruction.
If there are more than 5 drawings, there is an administrative fee for new design proposals.
The total price of your quote includes all the choices you have made for the tombstone.
The price in the quote is inclusive of VAT.
